The side view mirror is attached to the drivers and passengers’ side doors and assist the driver in seeing behind them and to their “sides”, hence the name “side view mirror”. They can be electric, manual, have blinkers built in, telescopic for large trucks, painted, chrome, plastic, metal. All sorts of options! One things is certain, they are useful and also easy to damage.
A side view mirror can range from as little as $15 for a Chevy Cavalier mirror, to well over $500 for an Audi A8 mirror. Generally, options like electronic adjustment, heating, and integrated turn signals will increase the price.

Make sure to understand that the paint colors may not match even if they are the ‘same’. If your vehicle has power mirrors, buy one like it, not a manual adjustment mirror.
Take your time and don’t force any electrical connections that don’t match up. Remove the protective plastic over the glass last.
Not much to do other than don’t run into stuff!
